As a (Senior) Backend Developer (m/f/x) your main tasks will include:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Ruby on Rails.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers and product managers, to implement new features and enhance existing functionalities.
• Ensure the performance, security, and scalability of backend applications.
• Contribute to the overall architecture and design decisions for backend systems.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to deploy and maintain backend services.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our backend infrastructure.

What we look for:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Backend Developer with a focus on Ruby on Rails.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
• Proficiency in database design and management (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Experience with RESTful API development and integration.
• Solid understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
