Requirements
- Experience in developing distributed and scalable backend applications
- Experience with Go, Python, or Ruby
- Experience and practice with DevOps culture, with collaboration between development and operations
- Experience with virtualization with containers Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes
- Practice in observability (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, New Relic, Datadog, etc.)
- Knowledge in computer networks and high-scale systems (latency, throughput, contention, congestion, etc.)
- Practical experience in infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform)
- Desirable Requirements: Experience with web servers/reverse proxies (e.g. Nginx, Apache)
- Familiarity with debugging and system optimization tools for embedded systems
- Have operated or used CDN, understanding the advantages, limitations, and security requirements (WAF, authentication tokens, etc.)
- Knowledge of Lua or other embedded languages
- Knowledge of Unix and operating systems (terminal, sysctl, perf, top/htop, concepts of user space x kernel space, interrupts, etc.)
