At CI&T, we're growing fast and looking for a talented Senior Data Developer, to join our team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust and efficient data pipelines for migrating complex systems, including SAP ERP, SAP BW, SAP CRM, Salesforce, and Azure Data Lake, to a unified architecture using PostgreSQL. Your role will be to ensure that data is extracted, transformed, and loaded effectively, meeting specific business needs. You will work closely with data architects and technical teams, ensuring data quality and integrity throughout the migration process.

Develop, optimize, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for migrating data from various sources using PostgreSQL.

Work collaboratively with data architects to understand migration requirements and implement technical solutions that ensure data integrity and security.

Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading, ensuring that best practices are followed at all stages of the process.

Monitor and resolve issues related to data pipelines, identifying bottlenecks and proposing continuous improvements.

Implement and maintain data quality processes, ensuring that data is accurate, complete, and consistent.

Participate in defining data modeling standards and documentation practices to ensure transparency and reuse of data components.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and provide solutions that support business strategies.

Foster innovation by staying up to date with new technologies and trends in data engineering, proposing the adoption of innovative tools and approaches.

Contribute to the training and development of team members by sharing knowledge and best practices in data engineering.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.

Proven experience in data engineering, with specific experience in data migration.

Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL and experience in developing ETL/ELT pipelines.

Proficiency in SQL, with the ability to optimize queries and ensure data integrity.

Experience with ETL tools and data integration.

Knowledge of data quality practices and associated tools.

Familiarity with cloud environments and modern data engineering stacks.

Good communication skills in English (written and spoken).

Experience with SAP ERP, SAP BW, SAP CRM, Salesforce, and Azure Data Lake.

Knowledge of AI and GenAI tools to optimize data migration processes.

Experience working with international clients.

Familiarity with Data Governance frameworks and practices.

Good communication skills in English (written and spoken).
