Crisis Response Specialist (PRN)

Crisis Intervention Engagement Technician at Chestnut Health Systems. Provides crisis intervention, outreach, and engagement services to individuals with untreated physical, mental, and substance use issues. Based in home and going out on crisis calls. Meticulous data entry and paperwork, safety planning, and on-site completion of treatment and recovery plans. Promotes positive interactions and contributes to a favorable program reputation.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 21 with a high school diploma or equivalent
• Demonstrated skills in human services and services to adults
• Ability to work constructively with consumers, treatment resources, and the community
• Personal recovery experience and willingness to discuss the recovery journey
• Capability to obtain the CRSS credential within one year of the date of hire
• Valid driver’s license, private automobile insurance, and insurability
• Basic computer skills, including MS Word, email, and an electronic medical record (EMR)
