POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Operations Project Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the efficiency and consistency of operational initiatives across the organization. This position will coordinate projects, track deliverables, and ensure alignment between departments to maintain CARD’s high standards of service delivery and operational excellence. This individual will assist in planning, executing, and monitoring operational projects — from workflow improvements and center openings to compliance initiatives and system enhancements. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, proactive communication, and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The Operations Project Coordinator will collaborate closely with regional and corporate teams to ensure projects are completed accurately, on time, and in accordance with organizational goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate multiple operational projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and objectives are met
Serve as the point of contact for project updates, progress tracking, and stakeholder communication
Assist in developing and maintaining project documentation, including work plans, timelines, and reports
Support the rollout of new operational initiatives, policies, and procedures across regions and departments
Track key metrics and provide data analysis to assess project performance and identify improvement areas
Collaborate with operations leadership to ensure consistent implementation of best practices
Facilitate cross-departmental coordination to ensure smooth project execution and information flow
Participate in regular project review meetings, providing updates and identifying potential risks or barriers
Prepare presentations, summaries, and reports for leadership to communicate project outcomes and status
Assist with other administrative or analytical tasks that support operational efficiency and strategic priorities
REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field preferred
1–3 years of project coordination or operational support experience, preferably within healthcare, education, or service-oriented industries
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with project management tools preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to gather, analyze, and present data effectively
High attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments
Adaptability and initiative in a dynamic and evolving environment
Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Includes a typical office or remote work environment, with regular collaboration across multiple departments. Occasional travel may be required for training, meetings, or project coordination.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time
Ability to work on a computer throughout the majority of the day, as tasks require
Ability to use and speak on the phone or via teleconference, as needed throughout the day
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally to support project needs (e.g., setup of materials or displays)
