DevOps Engineer

CapsLock is looking to hire a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer / Cloud Engineer / SRE (or a strong specialist in one of these roles willing to grow across the others).

You will focus on infrastructure automation, support for our cloud environment, and maintaining and improving CI/CD pipelines and system observability. You'll work closely with engineers and architects to ensure reliable deployments and highly available systems.

Responsibilities

• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)
• Deployment and maintenance of cloud infrastructure (GCP, Kubernetes, AlloyDB, Pub/Sub, etc.)
• CI/CD pipeline automation and maintenance (Bitbucket CI, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Containerization and orchestration of applications (PHP, Symfony, PHP-FPM, Node.js)
• Monitoring and alerting stack support (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, Alertmanager)
• Support and monitoring of self-hosted solutions (on Linux)
• Infrastructure architecture improvements, ensuring high availability and scalability

Requirements

Skills and experience:

• 3+ years of experience as a DevOps / Cloud / SRE Engineer
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, or similar IaC tools
• Strong working knowledge of Kubernetes and GCP or other public cloud
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket CI, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Solid Linux knowledge (administration, troubleshooting)
• Proficiency in Docker and containerization practices
• Experience monitoring with the Grafana Stack (Prometheus, Loki, Alertmanager, Grafana)
• Strong collaboration skills (especially in async teams)
• Willingness to learn new technologies and acquire new skills

Nice to have:

• Experience with GCP services such as AlloyDB, Pub/Sub, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, etc.
• Experience working in GitOps-driven teams
• Familiarity with zero-downtime deployment strategies
• System administration background
• Bash/Python scripting and automation skills
• Performance tuning and bottleneck resolution skills
• Proactivity and strong systems thinking
• Experience databases administration such as PostgreSQL, MySQ.
