Design Lead (Contract or FT)

What you’ll do

As our Design Lead, you’ll be a versatile designer supporting our Creative Director across a wide range of projects. You’ll support both large-scale projects and smaller design tasks. Your responsibilities will include:

Design Lead: Lead larger and more complex projects, guiding them from initial concept to final delivery. This includes developing brand systems, multi-page websites, and digital reports. You’ll have the support of our Creative Director and access to additional talent for specialized needs (e.g., web, motion, development).

Design Support: Assist with smaller, one-off tasks like creating LinkedIn posts, editing images, or designing decks for presentations.

Bunsen Brand: Own the Bunsen brand end-to-end, helping to make revisions to the website, creating marketing graphics, and designing sales decks.

Opportunity

Time: This role will start as a part-time contract, approximately 15-25 hours per week.

Growth: After the successful delivery of 2-3 projects, this role has the potential to transition to a full-time position.

Location: We are remote-first but require ~5 hours overlap with EST (our meetings are typically within 12-5pm EST).

Compensation: We offer fixed-fee budgets for more defined projects (e.g., brand, web, and deck work) and an hourly rate for less defined tasks (e.g., one-off design work).
