bunny.net is seeking a Principal Support Engineer to guide and mentor a team of junior engineers, providing technical expertise and resolving complex customer challenges. This role involves contributing to a global network, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving customer satisfaction through exceptional support. The role requires a strong understanding of CDN technologies and a passion for helping customers deliver optimal performance and reliability.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in a CDN level III support role.
- Strong experience with Linux server administration (network namespaces, process management, systemd, permissions).
- Experience with scripting (PHP, Bash, Python, JS).
- CDN architectures and caching logic knowledge.
- Familiarity with Nginx and similar hosting environments.
- Hands-on experience with DNS resolution, SSL configurations, CORS errors, and cache inconsistencies.
- API fluency (REST APIs, authentication).
- Debugging skills and experience with playback issues, video startup failures and stream delivery bottlenecks.
