Senior Technical Project Manager (ZR_22557_JOB)

This is a remote position.

Schedule:
  • Mondays to Fridays, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Bondi NSW, Australia, with 1-hour unpaid break
  • 8 hours per day/40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Leadership: Plan and manage technical projects from initiation to completion, defining scope, timelines, and resources. Lead cross-functional teams of staff and skilled volunteers to deliver on OBK’s tech goals
  • Requirements & Documentation: Gather and document business and technical requirements, create user stories, personas, process maps, and maintain up-to-date technical documentation and specifications
  • System Design & Implementation: Collaborate on system design and prototype development, oversee solution implementation, testing, and ensure deliverables meet functional and non-functional requirements
  • Process & Quality Management: Analyze workflows to identify improvements, manage project risks, and drive quality assurance through testing, feedback, and refinement cycles
  • Tech Oversight: Maintain OBK websites, shared drives, and internal systems. Provide first-line IT support, manage user accounts, and liaise with external IT partners and vendors
  • Communication: Lead project meetings and serve as the main point of contact for all technology projects within OBK
  • Reporting & Accountability: Lead with clear timelines, provide regular updates to stakeholders, and proactively establish next steps
  • Research & Partnerships: Conduct tech research, explore new tools and systems, and engage with companies for partnership opportunities that support OBK’s mission


Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in technical project management or software engineering roles
  • Proven leadership of cross-functional teams
  • PMP, Scrum Master, or similar certification is an advantage
  • Proficient in Salesforce and its integrations
  • Good experience and knowledge on NetSuite and website development
  • Good experience and understanding with most of the following applications: Vue.js, Node.js, WebSocket or Firebase Realtime Database, Figma or Adobe XD, SQL, Firebase, or MongoDB, Power BI or Tableau, AWS, GitHub Actions
  • Comfortable with target dates and multiple projects
  • Able to understand the scale and goals of a nonprofit in Sydney
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills
  • Disciplined, accountable, reliable, and able to meet deadlines and submit reports in a remote work environment
  • Ability to work independently, but also as part of a collaborative team
