- The schedule is Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 5 PM. Ideally, the VA should be available to work before and after core business hours, as the team is fully engaged during the mid-day period and the start and end of each day are pre-scheduled.

Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in transforming a successful trades business by developing and implementing robust business systems. Working directly with the business owner, you’ll help create and refine processes while managing day-to-day operations. The position offers significant growth potential, with opportunities to expand responsibilities as you demonstrate capability and initiative. The ideal candidate will combine strong organizational skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving, helping to streamline operations and improve business efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance business operations
- Support project pricing and quantity calculations for construction projects
- Manage email communications with stakeholders, including subcontractors and clients
- Create and maintain organizational systems for business documentation
- Assist with marketing initiatives and business development
- Provide daily updates during morning and evening touchpoints with management
- Help establish and refine business frameworks and processes
- Support general administrative tasks and operational improvements
- Contribute to the development of efficient workflow systems
Requirements
- Excellent written English communication skills
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Windows-based systems (required)
- Reliable internet connection and home office setup
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently
- Problem-solving mindset and proactive approach
- Adaptable nature with eagerness to learn and grow
- Construction/building industry knowledge (preferred but not required)
- Ability to overlap with UK business hours (7am-5pm UK time)
- Commitment to consistent attendance and reliable performance
- Minimum 35 hours per week availability
- Strong documentation and process-creation skills
