Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly focusedInvestment Events Researcherto identify and categorize global investor-focused events. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of capital markets, be capable of distinguishing between different types of investors and events, and possess excellent research and data entry skills. Your work will directly support strategic planning and outreach efforts by supplying accurate and categorized event data.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth online research to identifyinvestor-focused eventsglobally
  
• Categorize events by audience:institutional investors,retail investors, orboth
  
• Identify and document events that involvepublicly traded companies
  
• Accurately log detailed specifications such as event type, audience, date, location, and organizer
  
• Distinguish betweeninvestor eventsandnon-investor events(e.g., trade shows, general education sessions)
  
• Maintain organized, updated research databases based on defined guidelines
  
• Performdeep-dive researchfor extended, uninterrupted periods
  
• Ensuredata accuracyin all entries; all details must match source material precisely
  
• Coordinate with and provide reports to both the Principal Founder and Head of Operations
  

Requirements

• Strong online research skills withhigh attention to detail
  
• Working knowledge offinancial markets, especiallypublicly and privately held companies
  
• Ability to understand and differentiate betweeninstitutionalandretailinvestor events
  
• Excellent written and verbalEnglish communication skills
  
• Comfortable working independently and staying focused for long periods
  
• Proficient withGoogle Workspace (Docs, Sheets)or similar tools
  
• Willingness tolearn and follow specific research parameters
  
• Fast learner with the ability to distinguish relevant event types and filter out non-target events
  
• Familiarity with financial/investment terminology is highly desirable
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience infinancial research, event sourcing, or capital markets
  
• Background ininvestor relations, finance, or data entry involving market research
