Job Description

We’re seeking a creative and detail-oriented Instagram Social Media Assistant to take ownership of our daily social media presence and help attract new members to our thriving fitness community. You’ll work with fresh, authentic content from real gym classes and training sessions, transforming daily footage into engaging posts that showcase our energetic atmosphere and talented trainers. This role offers the perfect blend of creativity and consistency, where your content creation skills will directly impact community growth and member engagement. You’ll have the freedom to curate and filter provided content while maintaining our established brand identity, creating posts that truly capture the excitement and energy of our fitness classes.

Responsibilities

  • Create and post engaging Instagram stories daily to maintain consistent audience engagement
  • Design and schedule regular Instagram posts using provided daily content from gym classes
  • Curate and filter daily videos and photos from fitness classes for optimal social media impact
  • Maintain consistent brand identity, including preserving original logo and established colour schemes
  • Craft engaging and catchy posts specifically designed to attract new gym members
  • Schedule all content to go live during optimal Eastern Standard Time business hours
  • Communicate proactively with the business owner when tasks require clarification


Requirements


  • Proven experience in Instagram content creation and social media management
  • Proficiency with social media scheduling tools, particularly Instagram and Facebook native platforms
  • Portfolio showcasing previous social media work and graphic design capabilities is preferred
  • Availability to work during Eastern Standard Time hours for real-time communication
  • Proactive communication style with willingness to ask questions rather than make assumptions
  • Experience working with fitness, wellness, or lifestyle brands preferred but not required
