Job Description:
As a Remote Construction Bookkeeper, you’ll be at the heart of financial operations for this dynamic construction company. Working with cutting-edge construction management software, you’ll handle diverse financial tracking responsibilities across multiple project types. This role offers unique exposure to construction industry accounting while providing opportunities for professional growth. You’ll work closely with field teams and management to ensure accurate financial reporting and project tracking.
Responsibilities:
- Generate and maintain detailed project-specific profit and loss reports
- Process and reconcile transactions across multiple company credit cards
- Match expenses to specific construction projects and track job costs
- Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks Online
- Master BuilderTrend construction management software for financial tracking
- Process change orders and track payment status
- Create comprehensive financial reports for management review
- Assist in streamlining financial processes and improving efficiency
Requirements
- Proven experience with QuickBooks Online
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellence in written and verbal English communication
- Availability during US Eastern Time business hours
- Dedication to learning new software systems
- Construction industry accounting experience preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while maintaining team communication
