Broward College

Broward College is a public higher education institution that transforms students' lives and enriches its diverse community through academic excellence, innovation, and meaningful career opportunities. Established by the Florida Legislature in 1959 as the Junior College of Broward County, the college has grown to become one of 28 institutions within the Florida College System. With campuses in Fort Lauderdale, Davie, Pembroke Pines, Miramar, and Coconut Creek, Broward College serves more than 51,000 students with the support of over 3,300 full-time and part-time faculty and staff.

The college offers a comprehensive range of educational programs including technical certificates, associate degrees (AS and AAS), associate of arts (AA) degrees designed for transfer to Florida public universities, and bachelor's degrees in high-demand workforce areas. Broward College has earned national recognition, being named a Top 10 Community College by the Aspen Institute multiple times and ranking first in the southern region for least student debt.
