United States onlyThe Inpatient Medical Coder II is responsible for coding and applying ICD-10-CM and PCS codes to medical records at Brooks Rehabilitation Hospital, reviewing data and collaborating with internal and external resources.
Requirements
- Reviews medical record to correctly apply and/or validate ICD-10-CM IRF-PAI codes.
- Maintains coding accuracy of 95% or above for assigned codes.
- Completes the coding and data entry within four days of receipt and follows standard coding protocols.
- Examines records timely; reviewing principal and secondary diagnoses and procedures.
