Starting in 2004, Boldare built over 300 digital products for clients around the globe – Western and North Europe, the United Kingdom, North America, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Australia.

We are looking for a Lead Mobile Developer to join our team, responsible for overseeing the redevelopment and customization of mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms. The person in this role will lead the team, design the app architecture, and coordinate development processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for building scalable and efficient mobile applications. You will also work closely with the Product Owner and other team members in an Agile environment.

  • Experience working with white-label applications.
  • Knowledge of cross-platform frameworks such as Flutter, React Native, or Xamarin.
  • Familiarity with databases (e.g., SQLite, Realm, CoreData, Room).
  • Experience using application monitoring tools like Crashlytics, Firebase Analytics, or Sentry.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Firebase, or Azure.
  • Familiarity with UI and unit testing tools, including Espresso (Android), XCTest (iOS), and Appium.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Willingness to learn and continuously grow.
  • Openness to feedback and knowledge sharing.

🚀 What will you be responsible for?

  • Lead a team of Mobile Developers (Android/iOS) and coordinate team tasks.
  • Design the architecture of mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms.
  • Oversee development processes and ensure alignment with best practices.
  • Rebuild and customize whitelabel applications.
  • Design and implement new mobile application features.
  • Ensure application performance, stability, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with the backend team to integrate with external services.
  • Maintain high code quality, ensuring thorough testing (unit tests, UI tests).
  • Work closely with the Product Owner and other team members within the Agile framework.
  • Mentor junior developers and support their technical growth.
  • Manage client requirements and collaborate on project goals.
  • Ability to effectively manage client expectations and requirements.

Everybody here has full access to data (including knowledge bases, project descriptions, metrics, statistics, strategies, even financial data). Also, we communicate via open channels to effectively spread information.
  • Direct impact on the product & tech stack – our scrum teams are responsible not only for performing tasks but also for proposing technical solutions. You’re the expert here, so we trust in your tech recommendations.
  • Clients are partners – we really care about our relationships with them, and we cooperate as equal partners. There will be no proxies in between your team and the client. Forget about waiting ages for the answer to a simple question - you can expect clear and direct communications.
  • Face-to-face meetings with clients and the team (which are highly valuable for us). Regular business trips are standard at Boldare. With some partners we meet once a month, with others every six months. The frequency varies, but we care for all team members to participate in onsite meetings.
