Manages the day-to-day operations and administration for major or multiple providers of one's own insurance organization.

Job Description:

Job Responsibilities

  • Managing regular communications with providers and internal departments; providing solutions for issues affecting the provider community.
  • Overseeing the delivery of training, education and other support services for providers to ensure the most efficient and effective operations, and standards compliance.
  • Compiling financial and operating reports; analyzing information for department reporting.
  • Ensuring contracts are effectively implemented and monitoring new or revised contracts with providers.

Job Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required. Equivalent experience is defined as 4 years of professional work experience in a corporate environment

Experience

  • 2 years - Experience in a leadership/management role required
  • 5 years - Progressive administrative experience required

Skills\Certifications

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or function in a team environment sharing responsibility, roles and accountability.
  • Proficient in MicroSoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and Powerpoint)
  • Must be a team player, be organized and have the ability to handle multiple projects
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

Job Specific Requirements:

Preferred Experience:

5 years Credentialing experience and background - Physician, Ancillary and Facility.

Credentialing committee experience- leading and developing.

Experience with credentialing-based software.

Experience with Project Management.
