By combining virtual and in-person counseling, community support, and access to life‑saving medication, we help people move beyond addiction to find belonging, love, and purpose.The roleThe Senior Credentialing Specialist plays a critical role in overseeing provider credentialing, licensure, roster maintenance, and health plan enrollment. Reporting to the VP of Revenue Cycle Management, this role leads credentialing support staff and ensures providers are fully credentialed, enrolled with payers, and compliant with licensing requirements. The position also ensures accurate and timely entry of provider data into the EMR and billing systems, supporting operational efficiency and revenue cycle accuracy.Unless otherwise specified, this position is remote (work from home). Candidates must reside in one of the following states: Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, or Connecticut.What you will doCredentialing, Licensure, and Roster MaintenanceLead and supervise credentialing support staff, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely processing of credentialing and enrollment tasksOversee provider credentialing, licensure, and internal enrollment with Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, and Commercial PlansEnter, update, and maintain provider data in the EMR and billing systems to ensure accurate records for credentialing, billing, and operational purposesMaintain provider rosters, monitor license and certification renewals, and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standardsResolve credentialing and licensure issues, escalating potential delays to leadership as neededFacilitate multi‑state licensure and DEA registrations, ensuring smooth onboarding and cross‑state complianceServe as the primary point of contact for providers, clinical leadership, and state licensing boards regarding credentialing and enrollment mattersYou are a good fit if you haveBachelor's degree or equivalent experienceExtensive experience in provider credentialing, licensing, and health plan enrollment, preferably in a behavioral health settingKnowledge of multi‑state licensing requirements and credentialing best practicesProven experience supervising or mentoring staffExperience entering and maintaining provider data in EMR and billing systemsHighly detail‑oriented, proactive, and able to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environmentComfortable working independently and collaborating across remote teamsIt will also be great if you haveCPCS CertificationMulti‑state licensing experience in NH, VT, ME, NC and MAHands‑on experience with internal provider enrollment platforms such as VerifiableWork location requirementsBLP operates in hybrid and remote work environments, which allows us to better meet our members and partners where they're located.
