The incumbent will report to the Associate Director, Payroll EMEA, and collaborate with other European HR colleagues, various 3rd party payroll providers and accounting. This position manages the activities of the payroll function for designated countries in EMEA. This position will be in responsible for inputting, organizing, updating, changing information in our payroll systems in addition to preparing of legal requirements for taxes, audits, and other payroll related reporting.

This is a remote role which consists in processing end to end payroll for multiple entities within EMEA.

Essential Functions of the job

• Receives objective based assignments and determines resources to meet schedules and goals.
• Analyzing payroll data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and potential errors, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing insights to improve payroll processes.
• Responsible for timely input of all required data, ensuring accurate, complete and timely payroll processing.
• Keep accounts accurate during employee changes and rollovers
• Maintain detailed records for taxes and audits (and assist if an audit arises), and assist in creation of monthly reports
• Update and organize systems to manage payroll information
• Manage and maintain payroll records and files
• Set-up new employee information and accounts
• Assist with onboarding of new employees on payroll information
• Point of contact to addressing payroll-related inquiries
• Assist with onboarding of new employees on payroll information
• Strict adherence to internal company policies

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in a multinational payroll environment, having current, demonstrated experience in payroll processing from multiple countries within EMEA.
• Workday knowledge is a strong advantage, willingness to learn; desire to work in a fast paced, changing (currently being structured) environment, excellent communication skills combined with cultural sensitivity, excellent spoken/written English and Any other language an asset.

Education

Education Required:

• Accounting/Business/Finance Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
