Software Engineer

The BBC is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Web Enable team to work on the WebCore Platform. The successful candidate will have experience with coding, infrastructure management, and agile team settings. The role involves developing and managing cloud-native platform components, automation of resource provisioning, and implementing platform-wide monitoring and logging.

Requirements

• Experience with coding, ideally in Typescript / Javascript
• Experience managing infrastructure with AWS, or a similar cloud services
• Experience of coordinating work in an agile team setting
• Desire to learn new software skills and work with new technologies
• The ability to lead initiative or tasks within a multi-disciplinary team
