The Medical Records Coding Coordinator performs reviews of medical records to assign or confirm appropriate diagnosis assignment of ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT 4, HCPCS and Modifiers. Serves as liaison between billing, ancillary departments and coding to correct bills, identify errors and trends for problem solving and education. Monitors patient bill-hold for timely billing. Performs other duties as assigned. Specific Skills:Work with minimal supervision. Multi-tasking skills. Written and verbal communication skills. Computer skills appropriate to position.
