Job Description: We are seeking a talented and experienced Programmatic Media Manager to join our growing team at Battlefy. As the Programmatic Media Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our programmatic advertising initiatives across various digital channels. You will play a crucial role in driving user acquisition, engagement, and revenue through data-driven strategies and tactics.

Responsibilities:

  1. Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive programmatic media strategies to achieve business objectives, including user acquisition, engagement, and revenue generation.

  2. Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and optimize programmatic advertising campaigns across display, video, social, and other digital channels, ensuring alignment with target audience segments and performance goals.

  3. Audience Segmentation: Utilize data analytics and audience insights to define and refine target audience segments, ensuring precise targeting and messaging.

  4. Performance Monitoring: Monitor campaign performance, KPIs, and metrics regularly, identifying areas for improvement and optimization to maximize ROI.

  5. Budget Management: Manage programmatic media budgets effectively, allocating resources efficiently to achieve optimal campaign performance and cost-effectiveness.

  6. Ad Tech Evaluation: Stay informed about the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in programmatic advertising and ad tech platforms, evaluating and recommending new tools and partners as needed.

  7. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, product, and analytics, to align programmatic media initiatives with overall marketing and business strategies.

  8. Vendor Management: Build and maintain relationships with programmatic media vendors, platforms, and partners, negotiating contracts and terms to ensure favorable outcomes for Battlefy.

  9. Testing and Optimization: Conduct A/B testing, experimentation, and optimization initiatives to enhance campaign performance, creative effectiveness, and audience engagement.

  10. Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular reports and analysis on programmatic media performance, providing insights, recommendations, and actionable intelligence to stakeholders and leadership.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  2. 3+ years of experience in programmatic advertising, media buying, or digital marketing, preferably in the gaming or esports industry.
  3. Proven track record of planning, executing, and optimizing programmatic media campaigns across multiple channels and platforms.
  4. In-depth knowledge of programmatic advertising platforms (e.g., DSPs, DMPs, ad exchanges), ad tech landscape, and industry trends.
  5. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) to measure and interpret campaign performance.
  6. Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  7. Experience with audience segmentation, targeting strategies, and creative optimization techniques.
  8. Familiarity with ad verification tools, brand safety, and ad fraud prevention measures.
  9. Ability to think strategically, solve problems, and drive results while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
  10. Passion for gaming, esports, and digital media, with a deep understanding of gaming culture and community dynamics.
