Backpack Healthcare is dedicated to providing accessible, inclusive, and comprehensive mental healthcare services, focusing specifically on children, young adults, and their families. Founded in 2021 during the pandemic, the organization emerged from a pressing need that was experienced by their founder when struggling to find adequate mental health support for youth in crisis. With significant challenges present in the mental health sector, Backpack Healthcare aims to bridge the substantial gaps in accessibility and quality of care for children and their families seeking mental health resources.
