About the Role:
- Reports to the Director of Partner Solutions as part of Pango’s Channel Partner group.
- Pango’s Channel Partner group is a high-speed lightweight team responsible for maintaining established partnerships as well as acquiring and onboarding new partners.
- Pango is expanding its Channel Partner initiatives and is bringing in a new Sales Engineer to enhance its technical scalability in the Partner space.
Day to Day:
- Supporting the Channel Sales organization in the acquisition and success of Channel partners.
- Provide product presentations, product training, and onboarding support to Channel partners.
- Own technical initiatives for prospective partners, partners being onboarded, and established partners.
- Champion partner priorities internally and work with partners on new feature integration.
- Coordinate with diverse international internal technical teams on ongoing initiatives.
- Work with internal and external partners to enhance partner-centric programs, including such programs as pre-sales marketing materials, product training materials, integration documentation, SDK documentation, API documentation, partner experience (PX) enhancement, and others.
What you bring to the table:
- 5+ years of experience in a Channel-based Sales Engineering role.
- Exceptional problem solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to communicate complex technical subjects to audiences of all skill levels.
- Prior experience with a cybersecurity-focused service provider.
- Prior experience supporting partners through API and SDK integration.
- A firm understanding of basic cloud infrastructure fundamentals.
It would be great if you also had:
- Experience working as a service provider with VPN infrastructure and technology.
- Experience working with as a service provider for identity protection programs.
- Certifications in cybersecurity and/or cloud infrastructure topics.
- Experience with Postman, Insomnia, or similar API tools.
- A working understanding of any common open-source cloud operating system (*NIX, FreeBSD, etc.).
- Foundational understanding of object-oriented programming (this is NOT a developer role).

Pay range for this position is $150,000 - $200,000 on-target earnings per year but may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
