Description
Augmedics, a medical device start-up developing an Augmented Reality Guided Surgery System, is seeking a Service Engineer.
The Service Engineer will be responsible for setting up, configuring, calibrating, maintaining, and supporting the lifecycle of Augmedics' AR-based medical devices and associated IT systems.
This includes hardware/software configuration and upgrades, system calibration, labelling, RMA handling, and both corrective and preventive maintenance activities to ensure optimal device performance and compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience in service engineering / technical support / IT with electro-mechanical products - A must.
- An associate’s degree in Electronics, IT, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) - A must.
- Experience within the regulated medical device or healthcare technology sector – A must.
- Familiarity with computing hardware and application software - An advantage.
- Hands-on experience in performing both corrective and preventive maintenance procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot issues at both the component and system levels.
- Excellent problem-solving and documentation abilities.
- Willingness to travel up to 20%.
