Location: Remote Clearance: Secret Job Description ASRC Agile Decision Sciences LLC is currently seeking qualified candidates with an active Secret security clearance to support our Data Analysis mission under the CECOM SEC SETA program at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. ASRC is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the Senior Power BI Data Analyst & Power Platform Engineer position to support our customer at Aberdeen Proving Ground. The Senior Power BI Data Analyst & Power Platform Engineer will serve as the lead data strategist and engineer for Power Platform analytics and automation. This role focuses on designing secure and scalable data models in Dataverse, building advanced Power BI dashboards, orchestrating data flows, and providing expert guidance on data governance and reporting strategies. Responsibilities

  • Lead design of ERDs using tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or equivalent.
  • Translate ERDs into Dataverse schema with tables, relationships, calculated and rollup columns.
  • Validate data models against business requirements, performance constraints, and security policies.
  • Develop advanced Power BI dashboards with optimized DAX, complex data modeling, and enterprise-grade reporting.
  • Architect Dataverse schemas, including calculated columns, security roles, and governance standards.
  • Ingest and transform data from SQL, APIs, SharePoint, and Excel.
  • Utilize Power Automate to orchestrate data refreshes, alerts, and cross-system workflows.
  • Lead data governance and compliance strategy across Power Platform solutions.
  • Mentor junior analysts and engineers, driving data strategy alignment with mission requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership in data integration and ETL process development.

Minimum Requirements

  • 8-10 years of experience in data analysis or engineering, including 3+ years with Power BI and Power Platform in enterprise or federal environments.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, 4+ additional years of relevant experience can be used in lieu of a degree
  • Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst (PL-300) certification (required).
  • Additional certifications such as PL-400 (Developer) or PL-600 (Solution Architect) strongly preferred.
  • Proven expertise in Dataverse schema design, Power BI dashboarding, and enterprise data integration.
  • Strong knowledge of data governance, compliance, and metadata management.
  • Minimum of an active DoD Secret clearance required. Candidates without a minimum of a Secret clearance will not be considered.
