This role is part of AspenView’s Security & Infrastructure Operations practice and focuses on the day-to-day operation of enterprise security platforms and infrastructure hygiene.

This is a hands-on, execution-focused role for engineers who want to grow in enterprise security and infrastructure operations. You will work in a global enterprise environment, ensuring that critical systems are patched, compliant, and secure.

What you will do:

Security Platforms (Data & Email Protection)

• Operate and support key security tools including IBM Guardium, Proofpoint, and Microsoft 365 Security / Defender.
• Monitor alerts and support basic investigations to ensure rapid response.
• Execute policy changes and operational requests efficiently.
• Support incident response and remediation actions.
• Maintain documentation and operational runbooks.

Infrastructure & Patch Management

• Execute and support patch management cycles to maintain infrastructure hygiene.
• Apply patches and updates on Windows servers/endpoints and Linux servers.
• Monitor patch compliance and work with infrastructure/security teams on remediation plans.
• Produce basic operational reports and evidence for stakeholders.

Operations & Process

• Follow strict change, incident, and problem management processes.
• Document activities, issues, and resolutions meticulously.
• Support audit and compliance activities.

Tools & Technologies:

• Core Platforms: IBM Guardium, Proofpoint, Microsoft 365 Security / Defender.
• Infrastructure: Windows Servers & Endpoints, Linux Servers.
• Nice to Have: Palo Alto Cortex.
• Scripting: PowerShell or Bash (Basic).

What you bring:

• Experience: 2–5 years of experience in IT Operations, Infrastructure, or Security Operations.
• Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with Windows and/or Linux administration and Patch Management / Infrastructure Operations.
• Knowledge: Basic understanding of Security Operations concepts and Enterprise IT environments.
• Soft Skills: Comfortable working in structured, process-driven environments. You are execution-focused, reliable, and detail-oriented with good communication skills.

Nice if you have:

• Experience with Palo Alto Cortex, IBM Guardium, or Proofpoint.
• Background in Email security administration, Data protection (DLP), or Vulnerability management.
• Familiarity with SIEM tools.
• Basic scripting abilities in PowerShell or Bash.
