The Company

Arta is on an audacious and incredibly rewarding mission: to pave the way for people everywhere to lead more successful financial lives. Arta leverages AI and sophisticated digital tools—once reserved for ultra-high-net-worth individuals—and makes them accessible to a broader global audience. Think of it as your own digital family office, combining intelligent investment strategies, alternative assets, private market access, and smart automation to help you grow and protect your wealth effortlessly. We value trust, teamwork, and adaptability.

The Role

As a Technical Program Manager, you will play a critical role in collaborating with the engineering team that develops the trading platform, AI research, and backend infrastructure. You are the force multiplier who drives outcomes, not just timelines. You bring clarity to chaos, translating ambiguous goals into actionable plans while managing risks and dependencies with precision. With enough technical depth to engage meaningfully with engineers, you proactively solve problems before they escalate. You prioritize ruthlessly, streamline communication across stakeholders, and implement just enough process to enable speed and scale. Focused on long-term impact, you build systems—not just projects—and bring steady leadership even in high-pressure situations. Your value is felt not just in what gets done, but in how seamlessly and effectively it happens.

You will report to Charles Dong, co-Founder / Product Manager based in Singapore, while working closely with the CTO, CIO, and COO in the Bay area.

What You Will Do

  • Drive cross-functional programs from concept to delivery—connecting engineering, product, operations, and compliance in the development of Arta's trading, AI, and fintech products.

  • Develop and maintain program roadmaps, ensuring alignment across teams and transparency to stakeholders

  • Anticipate and mitigate risks proactively, and clear blockers with velocity and grace.

  • Own program-level planning rituals: sprint planning, reviews, milestone tracking, and retrospectives

  • Partner with engineers and product managers to make high-quality technical trade-offs and sequencing decisions that balance speed, scope, and long-term scalability

  • Bridge the communication between the Engineering team and Financial Operations team, and report to the Product team on real-time updates and progresses

  • Bring order to ambiguity—turning fluid business goals into clear program plans and execution frameworks

  • Evangelize engineering and product best practices while driving accountability for timelines, quality, and outcomes

  • Serve as a technical sounding board and escalation point—deeply understanding the architecture, systems, and dependencies behind your program

  • Support for engineering design documentation

  • Project management of timelines and progress tracking

Who You Are

  • 7–10 years of relevant experience as a TPM or engineering program manager in fast-paced tech environments.

  • Proven experience leading complex technical programs with distributed systems, APIs, cloud infrastructure, or trading platforms.

  • Strong technical acumen—you don’t need to code daily, but you should be comfortable reading architecture docs, debating implementation trade-offs, and debugging timelines with engineers.

  • Fintech product knowledge—whether from a trading platform, robo-advisor, or bank—you understand the regulatory and user dynamics that shape our domain.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills—you can translate between business, design, and engineering fluently.

  • Familiarity with compliance, security, or operational requirements in a regulated industry is a big plus.

  • Self-directed, scrappy, and outcome-oriented—you thrive in startup environments where clarity and process are earned, not handed to you.

  • Based in the Bay area, or you have a plan to relocate, and work onsite at the Mountain View HQ at least 3 times a week.

Arta Finance is on a mission to unlock the 'financial superpowers' of the ultra-wealthy for a broader audience. At the heart of what we do is a culture of innovation, driven by a team of former Google executives and experts in deep tech and high finance. We believe that kickass financial services shouldn't be limited to a select few. Our core values revolve around democratizing access to sophisticated financial strategies and investment opportunities, making them available through a seamless, technology-driven platform. We are committed to transparency, offering clear pricing and aligning our interests with our members' success. The Arta community is built on the principle of shared knowledge, enabling members to learn from each other and from financial professionals within our ecosystem.

Our journey began with the realization that many successful professionals, despite accumulating wealth, lacked access to the advanced financial tools and personalized advice typically reserved for the ultra-high-net-worth individuals. We saw an opportunity to leverage cutting-edge technology, particularly artificial intelligence and machine learning, to create a digital family office experience. This means providing access to alternative assets like private equity and venture capital, offering intelligent investment tools for public markets, and facilitating sophisticated financial planning, including tax and estate strategies. We are dedicated to building a platform that is not only powerful but also intuitive and user-friendly, removing the traditional barriers of high fees, administrative complexities, and opaque processes. Our team, the 'Artasans,' is passionate about uniting deep tech and high finance to build a future where everyone can confidently manage and grow their wealth, fostering a community where financial empowerment is a shared reality.
