The Principal Oracle SCM Managed Services Solution Architect serves as the senior functional and architectural authority for Oracle Cloud SCM within Argano’s Managed Services organization. This role provides long-term solution oversight; ensuring stability, scalability, and continuous optimization aligned to client business objectives and contractual commitments.
This position is not responsible for day-to-day delivery or project execution. Instead, it operates as a trusted advisor and architectural steward—engaged at key inflection points where functional judgment, system design decisions, and forward-looking guidance are required.
- Maintain deep expertise across Oracle Cloud SCM applications, configurations, integrations, and dependencies, with specific focus on post-implementation environments.
- Serve as the principal functional and architectural authority for assigned managed services clients
- Partner with Engagement Managers to ensure architectural alignment with managed services scope, SLAs, and client priorities.
- Lead architectural design for enhancements, optimizations, and incremental transformations.
- Act as a trusted advisor identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and system adoption.
- Lead strategic roadmap discussions incorporating Oracle quarterly releases and client drivers.
- Provide architectural guidance for change requests, integrations, and regulatory updates.
- Support pre-sales and renewals through RFP input and scope validation.
- Identify risks to solution integrity and advise on corrective actions.
- Perform quality review of estimates, change orders, and Statements of Work.
- Define architectural standards and documentation expectations.
- Translate Oracle product updates into actionable guidance.
- Deep understanding of Oracle Cloud SCM system design.
- Knowledge of Oracle Cloud implementation methodologies and post-go-live challenges.
- Ability to engage effectively with senior and executive stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, communication, and advisory skills.
- Ability to operate autonomously within managed services governance.
- Commitment to continuous learning and Oracle quarterly updates.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Significant experience providing architectural oversight in managed services or post-implementation environments.
- Experience assessing scope, effort, and impact for enhancements and optimizations.
- Strong understanding of financial business processes and enterprise systems.
- Oracle Cloud SCM certification(s) preferred.
