JOB SUMMARY:
A Senior Consultant at Argano is an experienced professional in the consulting family who provides expert advice and analysis in their field of proficiency. They are involved directly with clients and project management responsibilities related to their field of proficiency. They are responsible for delivering quality work independently on long-term mid-size to large client SAP implementation projects. They work as part of a team under the direction of more experienced consultants as part of larger workstreams. They provide expert advice, guidance, and solutions related to technology and information systems. They demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions for clients based upon their experience and best practices to achieve client's business objectives more efficiently and effectively.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage mid to large size AMS consulting projects, with a focus on SAP IBP.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives, challenges, and technology requirements. Conduct thorough assessments to identify areas where technology can drive improvements and efficiencies.
- Design, develop and execute solutions that align with the client's needs and objectives.
- Analyze industry trends and provide strategic insights to clients.
- Create detailed project plans outlining the scope, timeline, resources, and budget required to implement solutions successfully. Set realistic expectations and milestones for project progress.
- Provide knowledge transfer sessions for the client's staff to ensure they can effectively use and manage the implemented technologies.
- Advise clients on cybersecurity measures, data protection, and regulatory compliance requirements. Implement security protocols to safeguard sensitive information and maintain compliance with relevant industry standards.
- Continuously monitor the performance of implemented solutions to identify areas for improvement or optimization. Provide recommendations for updates, upgrades, or modifications as needed.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of project plans, solution designs, configurations, and any modifications made.
MINIMUM AND/OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Information Systems, Engineering, etc.
- MBA or relevant master's degree, advanced degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- 2-5 years of SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) consulting experience.
- Knowledge of relevant technologies and systems.
- Previous experience working in IT/consulting companies preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- SAP certification preferred.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Communication: proficient in English written and verbal communications. Proven ability to work with clients by providing ongoing guidance and care on their user adoption journey.
- Knowledge: Understanding of various domains such as networking, systems administration, cybersecurity, cloud computing, software development, databases, etc. Familiarity with different operating systems and software applications.
- Strategic Thinking: Consultants II should have a strategic mindset and the ability to develop and execute project strategies. Understanding of business processes and how technology can be aligned with business goals.
- Client Engagement: Building strong client relationships, identifying opportunities, and understanding client needs are vital.
- Innovation: Contributing innovative ideas and solutions is important for addressing complex challenges.
- Financial Acumen: Understanding project budgets, profitability, and financial implications is important.
TRAVEL:
- A willingness to accommodate a maximum of 50% of US travel.
