Senior D365 F&SCM WMS Functional Consultant

About the role

As a Senior D365 F&SCM Functional Consultant – Supply Chain, you'll collaborate closely with our valued customers, conducting thorough reviews of their business processes, delivering robust analyses, evaluating solutions, and offering expert guidance to help them achieve their objectives. Mastery of the full spectrum of supply chain and trade logistics is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Participates in every aspect of the solution implementation from analyzing the customer’s business requirements to configuring and testing the Microsoft Dynamics application to meet the customer’s needs.
• Collaborates with stakeholders throughout the organization to ensure a comprehensive set of requirements, aligned to business objectives, gaining full understanding of current business processes, and identifying opportunities for improvements.
• Provides in-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Dynamics application and evaluates the customer’s business processes against the standard Microsoft Dynamics functionality.
• Responsible for following Argano Agile Implementation methodology; understands the key activities and deliverables for the client engagement and internal projects, reuses all standard templates and project artifacts and improves quality of Argano documentation assets.
• Fully utilizes Microsoft Technology and ALM stack (LCS, BPM, VSTS, Task guides, PowerApps, Office 365, etc.).
• Provides ongoing input into the delivery practice through suggestions and implementation of practice improvements.
• Responsible for documenting the business requirements, which expresses what actions a solution must take and what outcome is expected.
• Responsible for configuring and customizing the Microsoft Dynamics application to achieve the customer’s business requirements.
• If modifications/customizations are required, either to processes or to the Microsoft Dynamics application, the Senior Consultant facilitates the customer’s decision-making process and develops the functional design document that will drive the development process.
• Responsible for conducting acceptance testing and training customer resources to successfully use and maintain the Microsoft Dynamics application.
• Plans and oversees the execution of the Conference Room Pilots (CRPs), Project Increments (PIs), and User Acceptance Testing (UATs) in collaboration with the project manager and gathers early user feedback on the solution from key customer stakeholders. Validates that the solution will satisfy the customer’s requirements after a POC or UAT.
• Participates in providing structured support to Argano customers, including support portal monitoring when required, troubleshooting support requests, proactively managing and governance assigned support cases according to SLA.
• Responsible for contributing valuable assets into Argano Knowledge base, Implementation methodology toolbox and in marketing activities including blogging and sharing knowledge articles.
• Has deep industry experience and understands challenges and risks when implementing Microsoft Dynamics and Vertical applications.
• Oversee and direct multiple T&L projects.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field

Experience:

• Proven ability to participate in multiple concurrent consulting engagements, providing guidance and input as required to ensure progress and achieve the project objectives.
• Proven ability to successfully implement D365F&SC T&L modules, including: Procurement and Sourcing, Sales and Marketing, Inventory Management, and Product Information Management.
• Proven ability to successfully implement D365F&SC WMS module
• Proven ability to implement solutions for various Supply Chain and Operations processes including: Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Quote to Order, Configure and Release Products, Pick to Ship, Sales and Purchase returns
• Key experience with common T&L scenarios and solutions for pricing, vendor and customer rebates, and workflows.
• Proven ability to train others and mentor both Senior and Junior consultants in Trade and Logistics process design and implementation
• Proven ability to lead client SME teams
• Proven experience working with companies ranging from Distribution, manufacturing, and financial services industries.
• Experience in Azure DevOps
• Experience writing and reviewing Functional Design Documents (FDDs)
• General understanding of both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent organization skills, with strong attention to detail
• Highly motivated, self-starter with the ability to take ownership of tasks and activities.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

Desirable Experience:

• Demonstrated ability to work in a constantly changing environment with limited direction.
• 10+ implementations in Dynamics AX and D365F&SC
• 5+ years experience Supply Chain, and WMS modules of D365F&SC
• 3+ years working primarily for supply chain operations is a nice to have
• Ability to ‘get things done’ across the breadth of the organization
• Experience working with a multicultural and/or multilingual team across several time zones
• Experience with Data migration using the Data management framework in Dynamics 365
