The Project Manager supports the planning, coordination, and tracking of internal projects across the Operations team at Argano. This is an internal-facing role focused on keeping work organized, on schedule, and well-documented as projects move through their lifecycle. The role works closely with senior project managers and operations staff.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support planning and execution of internal projects from initiation through closeout.
- Maintain project schedules, track milestones, and surface risks or blockers to senior project managers.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, capture action items, and follow up on open items.
- Create and maintain project documentation including status reports, RAID logs, and project plans.
- Assist with resource tracking and ensure team members have clear task assignments.
- Identify potential risks and surface mitigation options to senior project managers. Monitor and track risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Communicate project status to internal stakeholders across the Operations team.
- Assist with onboarding new projects into project management tools and systems.
- Contribute to process improvement efforts as opportunities arise.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
EXPERIENCE:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project coordination, operations, or a similar support role (preferred).
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and consistent follow-through on assigned tasks.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA, Smartsheet, or ADO (preferred).
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- CAPM certification, or active pursuit of PMP certification (preferred).
SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Project Management Skills: Working knowledge of project management principles, tools, and documentation practices.
- Communication: Clear written and verbal communication. Ability to keep internal stakeholders informed on project status and issues.
- Organization: Ability to manage multiple workstreams, maintain accurate records, and keep project artifacts up to date.
- Project Management Tools: Familiarity with project management software such as JIRA, Smartsheet, or ADO.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues early and bring them to the right people promptly.
- Attention to Detail: Produces accurate documentation and tracks task status with care.
- Escalation Awareness: Understands when and how to escalate issues internally, and communicates blockers to senior staff in a timely manner.
