Responsibilities:
- Define, understand, and promote enterprise practices and patterns on a wide variety of initiatives;
- Analyze, design, code, and automate tests based on defined requirements/specifications;
- Engage data architects on designing data models to provide the most efficient, cost-effective and innovative solutions;
- Develop clear and technically detailed user documentation facilitating solutions for various problems;
- Work with the Engineering team to conduct design and peer code review;
- Acquire knowledge of existing systems and the underlying business processes they support to enhance the overall strategy and delivery of products, especially the Mobility hub platform, MovePro, through the leadership of teams dedicated to this mission;
- Create an agile development process to support the diverse needs of our customers, analysts, data scientists, and operations teams which will increase the utilization of our products and achieve competitive advantage;
- Remain abreast of new technologies in order to evaluate and leverage such new technologies to solve a problem;
- Mentor and coach the Engineering team on attaining the technical skills to provide high value to customers; and
- Gather requirements and specifications for projects from various teams based on analysis of business processes and interaction with business users and technology business liaisons.
Qualifications:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or related field, plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation that includes the required experience and skills. Experience must include:
- 5 years of experience working with Angular and Node JS;
- 5 years of experience designing and developing APIs ;
- 5 years of development experience in software design;
- 5 years of experience in leading onshore and offshore engineering teams;
- 5 years of experience with Agile methodology;
- 5 years of experience with Git and CI/CD practice;
- 5 years of experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms; and
- 5 years of experience in creating technical roadmaps.
JOB LOCATION: Company's HQ is located in Madison, NJ. Candidate may work from home office located anywhere within the U.S.
SUPERVISORY DUTIES: Will supervise Software Engineers.
Compensation Range:
$153,000 - $168,000 per year. At Anywhere, actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual’s skills, experience, and qualifications.
