We are a Grand Rapids-based mechanical contractor serving commercial, industrial, and institutional clients across the Midwest and beyond. Since Andy Egan founded our company as a heating business in 1919, we have grown into a single-source contractor offering mechanical construction, engineering, design-build, piping, fabrication, mechanical insulation, controls, and round-the-clock service. Our work includes complex projects for data centers, advanced manufacturers, healthcare facilities, energy companies, and commercial property owners.

Today, our team includes more than 600 skilled professionals, including craftsmen, engineers, BIM and virtual design and construction specialists, project personnel, and maintenance technicians. We use Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud, fabrication software, 3D coordination, and reality capture to improve accuracy, reduce waste, support safer jobsites, and keep complex projects on schedule. The Jasper family has remained directly involved in leading the business across four generations, while our 2025 partnership with Sylvan created a path to combine Egan's technical capabilities with new construction technology and broader multi-trade services.
