SCM Technical Consultant / DITA Architect - freelance

We are looking for a talented and self-driven Freelance SCM Technical Consultant / DITA Architect to collaborate with our team on exciting structured documentation mandates for our clients across North America. Your Key Responsibilities

• Technical design — Define functional and technical architectures, facilitate workshops, develop technical frameworks, and produce comprehensive reports
• Documentation — Write clear and detailed general and user stories
• Pre-sales activities — Contribute to pricing, solution proposals, demos, blogs, and webinars
• Customer support & training — Provide hands-on support and knowledge transfer to clients
• Development oversight — Monitor project progress by sharing technical expertise, supervising teams, and managing configurations

Requirements

• You have 5-7 years of experience in the field of XML and preferably in structured documentation
• You have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant area
• You are detail oriented, and have strong verbal and writing skills
• You have experience in XML technologies, such as Xpath, XSLT, XSD, Xquery, XProc
• You have strong knowledge of DITA
• You are familiar with XML authoring tools and CCMS technologies (especially DITA compatible), as well as publishing technologies and portals
• Experience with Fluid Topics is a plus
