We've tripled our business in the last two years and expanded our production footprint across the country. Remote position or can be hybrid in Mooresville, NC.

The Marketing Communications Manager will execute marketing strategies developed by the Director of Marketing and play a key role in shaping our branded content and communications strategy. This individual will bring our brands to life across digital, print, in-store, and internal channels through the development of compelling, high-quality content. The ideal candidate combines creativity and strategic thinking with strong technical skills to engage diverse audiences and drive brand consistency across all touchpoints.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary creative leader for both corporate and customer-facing branding efforts.
  • Lead the development of brand (VBUs) and strategic frameworks in collaboration with Channel Managers.
  • Partner with Legal and Product Marketing teams to oversee trademark management and registration processes.
  • Provide input for new product launches while leading visual sell-in stories as it relates to presentations, packaging, and commercialization plans.
  • Spearhead ideation, planning, and coordination of major trade shows—domestic and international.
  • Maintain and regularly update the content library to ensure brand consistency and accessibility.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors to ensure the timely and high-quality execution of marketing deliverables.
  • Oversee the successful rollout and ongoing management of a new content syndication platform.
  • Act as a creative director for photo and video shoots while partnering with vendor agencies.
  • Effectively manage marketing budgets, resources, and timelines to support brand initiatives.
  • Utilize creative design software to produce high-quality visual renderings and marketing assets.
  • Provide leadership for content creation, brand positioning, and differentiated storytelling strategies.
  • Mentor and support the development of the Graphic Designer, fostering team growth and creative excellence.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support the success of the marketing team and broader organization.
Requirements
  • Education – bachelor’s degree in marketing/advertising/communications
  • 7-10+ years of marketing experience, preferably in marketing/communications/advertising/brand management/content development in a large, fast paced matrixed environment.
  • Strong understanding of brand positioning, brand voice, and content's role in shaping the brand experience in a CPG space.
  • Previous experience working with large retailers is a plus.
  • National and Private brand management experience is a plus.
  • Track record of high-level collaboration with sales teams and retail merchants.
  • Creative problem solver with a can-do attitude who can manage multiple projects with ease.
  • Strong storytellers with the ability to effectively communicate, both orally and written, and collaborate with people of all management levels.
  • Exceptional project management and time management skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects.
  • Self-starter who can independently identify areas of opportunities.
  • Track record of consistently driving growth, creating processes, launching new capabilities, and successfully managing cross functional project teams.
  • Adept in Microsoft Office with proficiency in PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suites.
