Compensation
ACE is committed to paying a competitive wage while staying true to our mission of maintaining high quality, affordable programs for our students. The starting salary range for this position is $65,000 plus all full-time employees are eligible for an annual bonus. Offers vary depending on education, prior experience, and expertise being applied to the role.

Day to Day Responsibilities

In this role, you will wear different hats, but your skills will be especially essential in the following areas:

Accreditation

  • Assist the Director of Assessment in meeting ACE’s requirements related to assessment and specialized program accreditation.
  • Prepare for accreditation visits and provide evidence of compliance with standards related to educational outcomes.

Project Management

  • Develop and maintain project management processes to support department chairs with the completion of program reviews and evaluations.
  • Collect and compile data related to educational outcomes from various sources, including assessments, surveys, course evaluations, and student performance.

Assessment Planning and Collaboration

  • Collaborate with faculty, department chairs, and associate provosts to develop assessment plans for individual departments or programs, ensuring they align with accreditation standards and improvement goals.
  • Review course materials, syllabi, and curriculum documents to assess alignment with established learning outcomes and accreditation requirements.

Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Analyze assessment data and prepare reports summarizing findings, recommendations for improvement, and evidence of alignment with ACE and accreditation standards.

Curriculum and Instruction Support

  • Ensure curriculum components are current, relevant, and aligned with instructional design principles.
  • Collaborate with college stakeholders to identify educational needs and priorities and support the development of courses.

Professional Development and Growth Mindset

  • Stay current with trends and developments in educational assessment, accreditation standards, and best practices to inform decision-making and program improvement efforts.
  • Demonstrate exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills to build trusting relationships throughout the organization.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Assessment, Instructional Design, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • At least two years of experience with assessment, instructional design, accreditation, or curriculum development in higher education.
  • Detail-oriented with strong writing, editing, verbal communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively work independently and as a team member.
  • Proficiency in learning management systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with Quality Matters is preferred.
