The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced APRN to join Allara as a Clinical Manager, a dual role where you'll lead a pod of medical providers while maintaining your own clinical practice (~50% of your time). This is a rare opportunity to help define how virtual women's health care is delivered at scale, with real impact on provider satisfaction, patient outcomes, and Allara's mission.

Location: Fully remote within the U.S.

Your Impact

Clinical Leadership & Team Performance (~45%)

This includes day-to-day clinical guidance, performance management, provider development, and cross-functional collaboration to remove barriers and optimize team effectiveness.

  • Day-to-Day Provider Support

  • Serve as the primary resource for your team, offering clinical guidance and async support to help providers navigate complex cases, patient escalations, and practice questions with confidence.

Performance & Accountability

  • Conduct regular 1:1s to build trust, surface what's working, and course-correct early.

  • Manage provider scorecards and review KPIs to identify strengths and areas for development.

  • Develop and implement Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) in partnership with clinical leadership, and manage the full provider lifecycle from onboarding through separations with fairness and consistency.

  • Communicate proactively with providers around patient escalations, feedback trends, and productivity, delivering candid, caring guidance that helps providers grow and patients thrive.

Provider Engagement & Quality

  • Host regular office hours to align your team on clinical standards, navigate operational change, and strengthen team culture.

  • Participate actively in QA reviews to continuously raise the bar on care quality.

  • Coordinate coverage across the provider group to ensure providers and patients are never left without support.

Onboarding & Development

  • Lead onboarding check-ins with new providers to build clinical and operational competencies for long-term success.

  • Track key performance metrics, provider utilization, patient retention, visit quality scores, and develop targeted coaching plans when patterns emerge.

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Partner with Clinical Operations to resolve operational blockers and keep providers focused on patient care.

  • Collaborate with Practice Operations on scheduling, availability, and capacity planning to meet patient demand.

Direct Patient Care & Clinical Excellence (~45%)

  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based virtual care across a range of women's health conditions while modeling the clinical standards and documentation excellence you champion across your team.

  • Conduct virtual consultations with patients managing hormonal and metabolic conditions, including PCOS, menstrual dysfunction, menopause and hormone management, fertility concerns, and weight-related conditions.

  • Initiate and monitor evidence-based treatment plans using medications, lifestyle interventions, and technology-based solutions.

  • Provide high-quality patient education and personalized care planning.

  • Respond to patients through secure messaging and follow-up platforms.

  • Maintain complete and timely documentation in the EHR.

  • Collaborate with dietitians, behavioral health providers, and referring clinicians to coordinate comprehensive, multidisciplinary care.

Clinical Strategy, Projects & Initiatives (~10%)

  • Help shape how care is delivered at scale by contributing to clinical protocols, quality improvement initiatives, and provider education.

  • Develop, refine, and maintain clinical protocols, care pathways, and SOPs that keep the team aligned on best practices as Allara grows.

  • Contribute to QI initiatives that move the needle on patient outcomes.

  • Build training and education resources for the provider team, including onboarding materials, clinical education content, and tools that support ongoing development.

Required Qualifications

  • Active APRN licensure in at least 2 states, with at least one in CA, FL (autonomous), NY (autonomous), or TX

  • Proven ability to manage performance through data and meaningful conversation, including difficult discussions and formal improvement plans

  • Experience in telehealth or virtual care settings strongly preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • Track record of scaling or developing clinical teams through periods of growth

  • Tech-forward mindset, comfortable leveraging AI-assisted tools, care coordination platforms, and a range of EMR systems

  • Deep passion for women's health and health equity

Allara Health was founded by Rachel Blank after her personal struggles with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). Many of our customers, like Rachel, have experienced years of unexplained health issues, seen multiple doctors, and tried various diets, only to feel alone, frustrated, and without adequate medical support. They face the challenge of navigating a healthcare system that often provides fragmented and insufficient care for complex hormonal and gynecologic conditions such as PCOS, endometriosis, and hypothyroidism. This journey can be isolating and disheartening, with many women feeling unheard and their symptoms dismissed. Our customers often struggle to find specialists who truly understand their conditions and can offer comprehensive, personalized treatment plans. They are looking for answers, relief from their symptoms, and a path towards living a fulfilling life.

At Allara Health, we understand these challenges intimately, which is why we've built a virtual care platform designed to bridge this care divide. We provide our customers with access to a dedicated care team of board-certified physicians, nurse practitioners, and registered dietitians who specialize in women's hormonal and metabolic health. Our customers face the difficulty of finding integrated care; we solve this by offering a collaborative, whole-body approach that combines medical expertise, personalized nutrition and lifestyle support, and advanced diagnostic testing, including metabolic and hormonal blood tests and imaging. We empower our customers by providing them with personalized care plans tailored to their unique needs and health goals. Through ongoing support, education, and a compassionate community, we ensure women struggling with these conditions can access affordable, expert care that not only answers their questions and minimizes their symptoms but also helps them regain control of their health and improve their quality of life.
