Senior Software Engineer- Java (f/m/d)

Overview

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer (Java/Spring Boot) to strengthen the Industrial vertical product team. You’ll play a critical role in expanding our backend development capacity, further streamlining our architecture, and maintaining a high-quality, enterprise-ready software platform.

As a senior individual contributor, you will take ownership of complex backend systems, shape architectural decisions, and contribute to stable and secure product delivery—helping us serve new and existing customers with excellence.

Your Impact

• Own and evolve backend services built in Java/Spring Boot, ensuring security, performance, and maintainability.

• Design and expose scalable REST APIs.

• Interface with databases and AI service layers.

• Contribute to architectural transitions (e.g., storage backend migration).

• Operate in CI/CD environments with GitLab and Kubernetes—supporting both cloud and on-prem deployments.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams: product managers, frontend engineers, AI specialists, and consultants.

• Uphold engineering best practices, especially around secure development and data sensitivity.

Your Profile

• Deep expertise in Java/Spring Boot backend development.

• Proven experience with enterprise-grade software: cloud and on-premise deployments via Kubernetes.

• Strong understanding of modular architectures and persistence frameworks (e.g., Hibernate, EclipseLink).

• High ownership mindset: you care about quality, reliability, and outcomes.

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD (GitLab preferred), Docker, and Kubernetes.

• Security-first mindset with attention to handling sensitive data responsibly.

• Adaptable to mature development processes; you contribute positively to team culture and codebase quality.

• Excellent communication skills; able to work across disciplines and collaborate asynchronously.

Nice-to-Have

• Exposure to AI/NLP systems and complex data models.

• Familiarity with observability tools like Prometheus, Datadog, and GitOps workflows (ArgoCD).

• Experience with enterprise software integrations (e.g., RMS/DMS systems).
