As a Senior Technical Product Manager to the infrastructure and foundations efforts at Aledade, you will play a key role within engineering and drive programs that span across teams. You will be responsible for the successful definition, cross-functional planning and execution of large-scale technical programs that help to solve complex problems and enable products and infrastructure at scale. You will serve as a key player with partner teams across the company, working to align interests and driving the implementation of scalable solutions. The successful candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, strong attention to detail, and the ability to align work across teams for execution.
We are flexible with respect to geographic location, and the ideal candidate will be comfortable working remotely/work from home within the US or from our offices in Durham, NC; New York, NY; Austin, TX; or Bethesda, MD.

Primary Duties:

  • Partner with business owners to cultivate a shared vision for the problem space, constraints, priorities and ideal end state, and be able to articulate and advocate for this perspective.
  • Ongoing optimization of live user workflows and capabilities including monitoring of key metrics & user feedback
  • Work with internal teams and end users to develop a deep understanding of requirements, perform thoughtful solution design, use data to test hypotheses, and support teams throughout execution.
  • Write detailed user stories for new features, capturing detailed descriptions of business rationale, requirements, and success criteria that are defined by measurable outcomes.
  • Develop short- and long-term roadmaps that deliver maximum value with minimum risk and assume ongoing iteration.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of product management experience in technology, technology-enabled services industry, or a SaaS product.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities:

  • Demonstrated software engineering, systems engineering and/or technical program management experience.
  • Experience in core infrastructure such as database, cloud computing, networking, and services with a deep understanding of distributed systems.
  • Experience with and understanding of the software development lifecycle and software development methodologies. Preferably experience with Agile / Scrum teams.
  • Product development experience in the context of the development of a healthcare technology product.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with an emphasis on problem-solving and execution
  • Experience with project and program management best practices for timely delivery and tradeoff management during multi-phased projects.
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and planning related to a product or program.
  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders.
  • Track record of anticipating bottlenecks, providing escalation management, making trade-offs, and balancing the business needs, budget and timelines.
  • An ability to take large, complex projects and break them down into manageable pieces, then deliver them in a successful and timely manner.
  • Operationalize and execute critical cross functional programs spanning multiple engineering teams.
  • Execute on technical programs that require deep systems and engineering level knowledge.
  • Create widely circulated detailed project plans, driving consistency, clarity and building alignment across teams.

  • Sitting for prolonged periods of time. Extensive use of computers and keyboard. Occasional walking and lifting may be required.
