We are flexible with geographic location—the ideal candidate can work remotely from anywhere in the U.S. or from our headquarters in Bethesda, MD.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Working closely with the commercial team and reviewing certain legal documents such as MSAs, NDAs, SOWs, Consulting Agreements, Hotel and Events contracts, Order Forms, Software/SAAS agreements and other standard legal agreements.
- Creating, maintaining, and updating form agreements and internal playbooks
- Assisting with the administration of the contracts management system.
- Overseeing incoming requests to the legal team and triaging accordingly.
- Updating and maintaining the team’s internal document management system.
- Maintaining legal processes and creating efficiencies where needed.
- Performing other duties as directed by the commercial team.
Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10+ years of commercial contracting paralegal experience, preferably in an in-house legal department for a healthcare or technology company.
- Proficiency in IronClad, Google Suite and various document and task management systems.
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
- Unwavering attention to detail and superior organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment while also delivering independent results.
- Demonstrated ability to work under competing deadlines and adjust responsibilities in response to recalibrated business needs.
- Commitment to discreetly handling confidential information.
- Ability to be flexible and scale with our extremely fast-paced, thriving startup environment.
