As a Procurement Assistant at Alcoa, you will contribute to the successful achievement of the Procurement team by keeping contact with contracted suppliers, requesting quotations, and answering queries. You will place purchase orders, follow-up on deliveries, and manage procurement needs in a dynamic team.
Requirements
- Advanced level of English knowledge - spoken and written
- Required to work in the afternoon shift (13:30 - 22:00)
- French language knowledge is an advantage
- Reliable user level of MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel)
- Strong communication skills, exactitude
- Ability to work both alone and in a team
- Attention to detail with the ability to take initiative, set priorities, follow up and complete tasks in a timely manner
- Experience in dealing with external partners, suppliers or customers
