Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

  • SharePoint & M365 Administration

    • Design and implement SharePoint site structures, including hub sites, communication sites, and team sites, ensuring a logical and scalable information architecture.

    • Establish and enforce metadata standards, content types, and retention policies to ensure data remains searchable and compliant.

    • Manage user access and security groups via on-prem AD and Azure AD (Entra ID); perform regular permission audits and maintain external sharing controls.

    • Manage global Microsoft SharePoint and Teams settings, including voice policies, meeting configurations, and secure external collaboration.

    • Monitor Microsoft 365 service health, manage tenant-wide settings, and oversee the implementation of new features from the Microsoft roadmap

  • Business Analysis & Digital Transformation

    • Partner with departmental stakeholders to document current "as-is" processes and design "to-be" digital workflows within SharePoint.

    • Utilize Power Automate and Power Apps to automate manual business processes and create custom forms integrated with SharePoint lists.

    • Build custom portals and dashboards that provide centralized access to departmental resources and KPIs.

    • Lead projects to migrate data from legacy file shares or on-premises SharePoint environments to SharePoint Online.

  • Training & User Adoption

    • Cultivate a network of "SharePoint Champions" across the organization to drive localized adoption.

    • Create user guides, video tutorials, and Governance Plans that clearly outline "how-to" and "where-to" for data storage.

    • Act as the final point of escalation for complex SharePoint and M365 technical issues.

  • Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Business Systems.

  • 3+ years of dedicated experience administering SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams.

  • Extensive knowledge of SharePoint site collection administration, web parts, and list management.

  • Proven experience building automated workflows using Power Automate (Flow).

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Purview, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and Sensitivity Labels.

Preferred Requirements: .

  • Hands-on experience with ShareGate, AvePoint, or the Microsoft Migration Tool.

  • Strong ability to document business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

  • Experience managing small-to-medium IT projects using Agile or Waterfall methodologies.

Physical Requirements:

  • Stoop, kneel or crawl.
