Part of the Professional Services team, responsibilities include delivering, integrating, maintaining, and optimizing security solutions effectively. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure outcomes meet quality standards.

As a Security Architect II, you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring seamless security and delivery by managing technical lifecycles, from initial setup, troubleshooting, and testing to production deployment.
• Designing the end-to-end lifecycle of customer configurations, incorporating CDN, WAF, API Security, Bot Management, and additional solutions for seamless delivery.
• Analyzing traffic and system architecture, and customizing security solutions to address and remediate security challenges.
• Managing and documenting technical issues, stakeholder responses, and requests to ensure information is consistently recorded and up to date across projects.
• Collaborating with cross-functional project teams to scope, set timelines, create technical solutions, and support ongoing implementations
• Leveraging automation through Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Akamai CLI) and scripting (Python, Powershell) to streamline configurations and deployments where possible.
• Leveraging a robust technical toolkit like Web Developer Tools, Postman, cURL, and Burp Suite to validate, optimize, and troubleshoot workflows.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Demonstrate 6+ years of experience in security technologies, processes, concepts, and formal education in computer science/engineering
• Demonstrate expertise in internet fundamentals, DNS, routing, HTTP, TCP, TLS certificate lifecycle, application security, and APIs.
• Be able to analyze web traffic, web architectures, and customize Akamai security solutions to answer customers' security issues
• Have expertise in OWASP, network security products, application firewalls, server, and client-side application architecture
• Demonstrate an automation-first approach, utilizing Terraform, Akamai CLI, and scripting, maintain an AI-forward mindset, continuously learning and adapting to AI-driven trends.
• Focus on delivering impactful results while clearly conveying complex technical information through exceptional communication and presentation skills.
