Senior React Native Engineer (iOS)

Air is a Creative Ops System for creative teams. Our product automates the mindless tasks that creatives and marketers do every day to manage content and unlocks creativity through image recognition, automated versioning, and approval workflows. The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Senior React Native Engineer (iOS) to build Air’s first-ever mobile application from the ground up and deliver it to the App Store. You’ll own the entire 0→1 lifecycle - architecture, implementation, testing, release, and iteration, while collaborating closely with design and product. Core Responsibilities

Lead React Native SDK & iOS App Development

• Design, build, and maintain Air’s iOS application with a strong focus on performance, reliability, and seamless asset uploads.
• Partner with product and design from early ideation through release, taking full product ownership; including testing, CI/CD, and publishing to the App Store.
• Establish best practices and coding standards to ensure the app is scalable, well-documented, and developer-friendly.

Contribute Across Platforms

• Collaborate with web engineers to ensure a consistent, high-quality user experience across all platforms.
• Share architecture insights and cross-platform learnings to unify mobile and web development practices.

Build UI Components & Developer Tools

• Develop reusable UI components and developer-facing tools that highlight SDK features and simplify testing or debugging for third-party developers.
• Create sample apps, demos, and internal tools to accelerate adoption and integration of Air’s SDK.

Automate and Streamline Release Pipelines

• Enhance and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate builds, testing, and publishing to npm and the App Store.
• Ensure a smooth, reliable release process that allows for frequent, stable updates.

Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years of iOS app development experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment (ideally in SaaS or technology-driven industries). Proven track record of taking an iOS app from concept to App Store launch.
• Technical Ability: Highly proficient in React Native, modern react and iOS Swift. Strong knowledge of the mobile tooling ecosystem - testing, CI/CD, and publishing workflows.
• Entrepreneurial Drive: You like to work in public, own problems end-to-end, and move with intentional speed - so your best ideas ship fast and make a visible dent.
