Position Overview
The Principal Data & AI Integration Architect serves as the technical leader responsible for integrating
Agiloft’s AI ecosystem with its internal corporate systems. This senior individual contributor owns the end-to-end architecture, design standards, building, and implementation of integrations across ERP, CRM, HRIS, Finance, and collaboration platforms – ensuring a seamless, scalable, and secure enterprise technology environment. This role will reside on
Agiloft’s Tech Stack team.
As both a strategist and builder, the Principal Architect will serve as the bridge between IT infrastructure, enterprise systems, and
Agiloft’s growing AI ecosystem; owning integration standard and architecture across the corporate technology stack. They develop APIs, middleware, and data pipelines that enable data flow between systems and emerging AI capabilities, driving operational efficiency and intelligence across the enterprise. Partnering closely with IT, Data Governance, and AI leadership, this role ensures enterprise architecture evolves in step with the company’s AI strategy.
The right candidate will have deep expertise in integrations architecture, API development, and data management, with the ability to design and implement seamless connections between GPT systems, AI agents, and core business applications. This position supports the GPT & AI Systems Lead and AI Agent Architect in realizing enterprise-wide AI value by ensuring robust, scalable, and secure integrations across the entire tech stack.
Job Responsibilities
- AI & Data Integrations Leadership
- Own enterprise integration architecture and standards for internal corporate systems (ERP, HRIS, Finance, Salesforce, etc.).
- Design and implement integrations connecting AI systems (GPTs, AI agents) with enterprise applications and data sources ERP, HRIS, knowledge bases, collaboration tools).
- Develop and manage APIs, middleware, and data pipelines to ensure smooth data exchange and interoperability across platforms.
- Collaborate with the GPT & AI Systems Lead and AI Agent Architect to operationalize AI-driven workflows and automation.
- Partner with Engineering, IT, and AI Operations to ensure architectural alignment across enterprise standards, data, and long-term IT strategy.
- Evaluate, recommend, and standardize integration tools, frameworks, and middleware to align with enterprise strategy.
- Data Management & Governance
- Advise the Data Governance Committee on architectural decisions impacting data flow, retention, and quality.
- Proactively identify gaps and propose architectural improvements to optimize performance and data quality.
- Oversee data flow design, ensuring high availability, accuracy, and compliance with enterprise data governance standards.
- Partner with IT and compliance teams to safeguard data privacy and meet regulatory requirements (SOC2, ISO27001, GDPR, etc.).
- Establish monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting practices for data pipelines and integrations to ensure system reliability.
- Maintain documentation of integration dependencies, workflows, and data schemas.
- Hands-on Development & Delivery
- Develop and maintain APIs, data pipelines, and middleware connecting internal systems and AI platforms.
- Build proofs of concept and reusable integration frameworks to accelerate AI enablement.
- Implement observability, error handling, and performance tuning across integration layers.
- Serve as the escalation point for technical troubleshooting of enterprise integrations.
- Cross-functional Collaboration & Ecosystem Enablement
- Act as the primary liaison between the Go-to-market Tech Stack team and the AI Operations function. Provide technical expertise and integration support to ensure AI initiatives scale effectively across departments.
- Partner with the Project Manager, Data Governance, and AI committees to influence sprint planning, technical prioritization, and backlog grooming.
- Review and approve integration designs proposed by internal departments to align integrations with business requirements and adherence to architectural standards.
- Support adoption of AI by ensuring integrations are user-friendly, reliable, and clearly documented for stakeholders.
- Strategy & Thought Leadership
- Contribute to the roadmap for enterprise AI,data integrations, and enterprise systems ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Identify emerging technologies and best practices for AI-to-enterprise integration.
- Establish integration lifecycle best practices, including testing, monitoring, and version control.
- Recommend improvements to the enterprise architecture that accelerate AI adoption and support long-term scalability.
- Serve as a thought partner to the Vice President of AI Operations and Sr. Manager of Business Technology on integration opportunities.

Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in systems integration, enterprise architecture, or IT development roles.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with APIs, middleware, and enterprise system integrations.
- Strong knowledge of data pipeline design, ETL/ELT processes, and integration frameworks.
- Demostrated experience connecting AI/ML or LLM-based systems, with enterprise applications.
- Strong understanding of security, compliance, and governance considerations for enterprise data and AI systems.
- Proven expertise in integration frameworks (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Workato, Zapier, or custom API frameworks).
- Proficiency with Agile/SCRUM, including input into sprint scope and prioritization based on technical dependencies.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills across complex system environments.
- Excellent communication skills, with ability to translate complex technical solutions to business aligned recommendations.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally to deliver integrations that create measurable business value.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SaaS enterprise applications (Salesforce, Intacct etc.).
- Familiarity with AI orchestration tools and multi-agent frameworks.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related technical field.
- Demonstrated ability to balance architectural vision with hands-on execution in fast-paced environments.
- Experience working in hybrid IT/AI environments bridging operations, governance, and engineering.
