The Global Product Manager is responsible for all upstream and downstream marketing activities to achieve the AGFA HealthCare strategic, business, customer satisfaction & success goals across the globe for our Enterprise Imaging solution with focus on Radiology, Cardiology and other service lines.
He/she is responsible for owning the end-to-end marketing strategy and tactics of Enterprise Imaging for Radiology, Cardiology and beyond, and is expected to be the expert in how to target the respective buyer personas. This critical role is responsible for thinking about the bigger picture, how AGFA HealthCare plays today and in future in that segment, and therefore determines why, how, and when AGFA must bring innovations, enhancements, features and/or products. He/she must be able to transfer that knowledge to the product development team for effective and comprehensive planning and execution of the release cycle. As part of an engaged and focused extended product marketing team he/she liaises with the remainder of the team and crafts effective global go-to-market strategies.
This role is highly cross-functional, working with leaders from across the organization to identify opportunities, conceive offerings, and articulate compelling value propositions.
He/she reports functionally to the Director Global Product Marketing who leads the company processes related to market requirements, packaging & pricing and product releases & launches.
Location: Remote, East Coast US based is preferred
Major Accountabilities :
- Understand customer, buyer and personas needs, market trends and the competitive landscape in Enterprise Imaging, with specific focus on Radiology, Cardiology and other imaging services lines.
- Oversee and provide direction for customer segmentation and targeting in order to define the market opportunities for the Enterprise Imaging portfolio and partner with product marketing, product management leaders and local field marketing to issue market requirements for our current portfolio and build business cases for expanding our portfolio or entering new segments or new domains.
- Provide direction for the creation and socialization of the following product-level documents related to Radiology, Cardiology and beyond along with Enterprise Imaging: market requirements, go-to-market plan, revenue enablement plan, launch plan, solution handbook
- Oversee and provide input into the process for creating product positioning, value propositions and messaging that resonates with the buying audience, providing source messaging documents for use by downstream marketing functions such as campaign, demand generation, and content teams
- Develop the competitive positioning for the product portfolio
- Partner with product and sales leaders to plan routes to market and collaborate with enablement and/or local operations to produce revenue enablement plans for the product portfolio
- Oversee the product portfolio launch strategy and launch planning, collaborate with product management and portfolio launch marketing leader; ensure launches are integrated with campaigns
- Establish strategies to drive retention, upsell and cross-sell for the product portfolio, and partner with local field marketing
- Serve as market-facing subject matter expert (SME) for the product portfolio and interface with industry analysts as the company representative
- Be a visible and active member of the Enterprise Imaging IT customer community through thought leadership papers and blogs, speaking at major trade shows, activity on social media, etc.
- Provide input into the process for developing customer references, testimonials and case studies
- Determine customer product satisfaction and loyalty; help improve customer satisfaction and improve KLAS ranking in Enterprise Imaging across all categories
- Monitor and report on the business performance (funnel, order intake, revenue recognition and margins) of the product portfolio as well as the readiness of sales and ultimately the adoption by customers.
Education :
- RT Certification or five-year degree with clinical and industry experience in Radiology is required.
- An MBA degree is preferred.
Experience :
- Minimum of 10 years in the Imaging IT industry and specifically in radiology
