Who are we looking for

We’re looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager who is seeking to accelerate their career and take on a rare opportunity in the Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) sector. Someone who thrives on making things happen, loves solving customer challenges, and wants to play a defining role in bringing a proven, international solution to a brand-new market in the UK.

You’ll be joining us at the perfect moment: 1Spatial is launching a new Facilities Management (CAFM) solution, VertiGIS FM, into the UK. It already has hundreds of successful deployments across Europe, giving you the confidence of a well-established product paired with the excitement of building its UK presence from the ground up.

You’ll be the kind of person who gets a buzz from opening doors, shaping propositions, and helping customers imagine a better way of working. You’ll be curious, commercially aware, confident with stakeholders, and motivated to grow, not just in your role, but toward becoming a Senior Business Development Manager. You’ll think strategically enough to help shape a long-term vision, while having the hands-on drive to engage operational leaders and turn that vision into immediate traction and real-world results.

If you’re looking for a role where you can genuinely influence a market, show your potential, and build a career step-change this is it.

Why are we recruiting now?

1Spatial is entering an important new chapter. Organisations want smarter, more transparent operations, and they need solutions that deliver reliable data, automation, and actionable insight. VertiGIS FM gives them exactly that. It is a proven, robust COTS solution with a strong track record, established workflows, and a roadmap for ongoing innovation. Backed by hundreds of successful implementations across Europe, it delivers the capabilities FM teams need today and the adaptability they’ll rely on tomorrow.

This is a once-in-a-career opportunity: we have a validated product, a clear need in the market, and a strong technology foundation. What we need now is a talented BDM who wants to take ownership of the UK go to-market strategy shaping the proposition, building the pipeline, and taking a leading role in establishing VertiGIS FM as a recognised player in the UK FM landscape.

You’ll be building a portfolio that you can grow, steer, and ultimately lead with the support of our geospatial and FM specialists. If you want to step up, stretch yourself, and position your career firmly toward becoming a Senior BDM, this is the place to do it.

What you will do:
