About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Developer with extensive experience building production-grade web applications and a strong interest in DevOps, platform, and infrastructure work. The ideal candidate has a solid software engineering background, proven hands-on experience working with Laravel, and has progressively moved into CI/CD, infrastructure as code, containers, and cloud environments.
This role requires someone who can combine hands-on development expertise with the ability to define technical standards and influence engineering best practices across teams. The candidate should be highly comfortable working from the command line, fluent in shell environments, and able to operate confidently in terminal-based workflows.
The ideal profile is a senior developer who has hybridized into DevOps/platform engineering and can point to a CI/CD transformation or modernization initiative they personally led.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain reliable production web applications.
Develop and maintain backend solutions using PHP, Laravel, Node.js, and TypeScript.
Contribute to DevOps, platform, and infrastructure initiatives.
Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines to support scalable engineering workflows.
Lead or significantly contribute to CI/CD transformation initiatives, including pipeline modernization, automation, and developer workflow improvements.
Work with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
Support containerized environments and cloud-based infrastructure.
Operate comfortably from the command line and use shell-based workflows for development, automation, deployment, and troubleshooting.
Define engineering standards, best practices, and technical guidelines for other developers.
Influence engineering teams by promoting scalable development, DevOps, and platform practices.
Must-have Requirements
7+ years of experience as a Senior Developer building production web applications.
Proven experience working with Laravel in production environments.
Strong experience with PHP/Laravel, Node.js/TypeScript, or comparable technology stacks.
Hands-on experience or strong exposure to DevOps, platform, or infrastructure work.
Solid understanding of CI/CD practices.
Proven experience personally leading or playing a key role in a CI/CD transformation, automation, or modernization initiative.
Experience with infrastructure as code, including Terraform and/or Ansible.
Experience with containers and cloud environments.
Strong command-line comfort is required — the candidate should be fluent and feel at home in a shell.
Strong communication skills and the ability to set standards followed by engineering teams.
Nice-to-have Requirements
Experience with Google Cloud Platform.
Background in hybrid software engineering and platform engineering roles.
Experience improving developer experience, deployment workflows, or internal engineering platforms.
