We are looking for a talented freelance Paid Media Manager to join our strategy team in London.
Our team is responsible for creating insight-led recommendations for paid social activation, and then working alongside our Community team to execute them. We are experts in creating elegant media strategies that are deeply integrated into the creative work, rather than existing as a bolt-on.
We help with all aspects, from planning to buying, tools management, partner relations leadership and creative ideation.

Role
- Support Client teams with campaign consultancy, strategic planning & implementation for paid social & direct response campaigns
- Deliver integrated paid media campaigns with an appreciation for the other elements of the campaign (influencer outreach, community management, experiential)
- Deliver optimisation, reporting & budget management for all media budgets within your remit
- Work with Account Managers to manage project timings, delivering all duties to agreed deadlines
- Build and update bespoke client reports
- Analyse campaign performance against client KPIs & report on any trends & insights to key stakeholders
- Monitor delivery and budget against KPIs
- Recommend opportunities for campaign optimisation based on meeting clients KPI’s & implement as required
- Create strategic recommendation documents such as changes to paid social platforms, opportunities
- Deliver post-campaign analysis & PPT presentations
- Assist with any ad-hoc reporting & administrative tasks
- Work with media owners to trouble-shoot any issues that may arise
- Work closely with internal departments and external companies
Requirements
- 4 years+ experience of digital advertising, with significant experience in paid social
- Understanding of media & audience targeting
- Advanced understanding of Microsoft Excel, competent PowerPoint & Word
- Excellent communication and literacy skills
- Analytical approach
- Entrepreneurial – able to identify opportunities for clients within paid social
- Able to manage time effectively & multi-task
- Team player
- Self motivated & willing to take on new challenges
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office, in particular Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Marketing or media related degree or equivalent experience.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with Facebook & Twitter Ads Platform or 3rd Party API technology
- Understanding of Search PPC Media Buying or Display Planning
- Contributing to the vision and goals of the business by participating in projects that benefit 1000heads as an agency
- Anything else that is required to make amazing things happen for our projects and our clients Qualifications required
- Degree level or equivalent experience
